So glad I decided to get this. Outstanding quality, very clean and solid. Has a good hefty weight to it too. Perfect keyboard for my digital art & gaming.

Bought this knowing the pitfalls from previous user reviews.

For the pros. it does what I need it to do and adds extra macro functionality to my work. Love the metal body albeit the fit on the caps is pretty tight. The extra USB outputs also mean convenient daisy chain to other peripherals.

Only major con is the firmware. Without some technical knowledge you might struggle to get this working how you want it using an older version of VIA. In addition the firmware itself doesn't currently support macro with ms delay, something the latest version of VIA supports. There are work arounds, but it would be much simpler if the firmware were updated, or made open source like with other keyboards. Other con is in the fit as cause the frame sits tight around the keycaps and switches some can only be taken out by first dismantling the upper body. Not end of the world, but a minor nuisance in any case if you are inclined to mod frequently.

If the firmware is updated to support ms delay, better detection support in VIA (and even VIAL), and a tweak to the metal body work, then this would be a 5-star macro pad. Would still recommend this for those looking for a compact, yet full featured macro pad just do some research before buying.

This keyboard works great! I got it knowing out of the box that I would need to work on it, and I managed to get everything working as I wanted! VIA wasn't the firmware I wanted, and QMK firmware wasn't available, but I was able to add support for it. I'm not sure what some people are complaining about with being unable to get the firmware for it, since I was able to find it fairly easily.

I purchased and paid for the Meg 38% keyboard and it shipped, took 12 days to get from China to California and has been stuck in Santa Fe Springs, CA since 4/7. According to Keebmonkey it has to be stuck for 30 days before I can get a refund. so yeah, not a good experience.

Because it seems like nobody can get their act together to provide the firmware for this board and mine shipped stuck in DFU mode, the whole board is useless to me. Attempts to contact customer service have lead nowhere and apparently I'm not the only user experiencing this problem.

I’m happy with the design, disappointed that I can modify the firmware to really utilize the macros. I primarily purchased for the layers and macros too! Would definitely change my review to 5 stars if I could do this.

Awesome macro pad. Works in via, solid construction. The OLED screen is great so you can switch between layers (4 in total) and know exactly which one you are on. If I could find use for another I would buy again.
